Summer, it’s finally here! If you’re planning a trip somewhere nice, its time to think about packing for your baby too. Whether it’s a staycation or you’re jetting off to somewhere for a bit of sun and *relaxation*, you have limited space for all of your little one’s bits and bobs.

You’ve probably gone a bit overboard and packed enough for a 2-week holiday but you’re just heading away for 7 days. Take a moment, step away from the suitcase and make sure you have packed all of the essentials for your little trip away with our handy little checklist.

Packing for your baby’s first holiday

The guide above has been pulled together to help pack for your baby for a 7day holiday.

How much should you pack to go away on holiday?

If you’re heading away for a little longer, we would always allow for two outfits per day. This covers daytime, evening and sleep outfits, as well as sun and swim essentials like hats and sun-safe suits. Ideally, cotton clothing like our range at Babi Bw will help keep your little one nice and cool. Organic cotton is also better for babies with sensitive skin and allergies, so more comfortable for baby.

Wash and go!

Taking a bit of washing powder and liquid is a great way of minimising the number of clothes you need to take and means you’re well prepared for any mishaps. Remember to check the care labels for your baby’s clothing before washing – We advise washing all of our garments at a maximum temperature of 30 degrees and we do not recommend using harsh chemicals like bleach due to the delicate nature of our fabric.

An essential tip, and one we highly recommend you do pack for baby, is to cross-pack both yours and your little one’s clothes, just in case anything should happen.
